Does he want you as his girlfriend or not? Does he only see you as his best friend and nothing more? A relationship like this can be incredibly frustrating! But here's how to tell whether you should keep working on your relationship, or move on and re-start your dating life with a clean slate.
Sign #1: He Likes Flirtatious Fun.
Does he flirt with you? Or does he treat you like a good friend whom he can talk to about anything? This is the first dead giveaway, because a man will only flirt with you if he has some romantic interest in you. If he doesn't, then he probably isn't interested in a serious relationship (at least not yet).
Sign #2: He Talks To You About Anything And Everything.
If he flirts with you AND shares his deepest thoughts with you at the same time, that's a great sign -- it means he's perfectly comfortable with you. It could also mean you're the #1 woman on your list -- if he had to choose a partner right here and now, he'd choose you.
Sign #3: He Takes Initiatives And Plans Your Dates.
A best friend would ask you: "Where would you want to go this weekend?" But an interested boyfriend calls you up mid-week and tells you: "Want to check out the new theme park this weekend?" If he makes plans for your dates himself, that means he's getting into the "good boyfriend" mindset!
Sign #4: He Spends Most Of His Free Time With You.
If he's spending less and less time with his friends (and/or video games), and spending more time with you, that's a great sign. It means he's psychologically more ready to handle a serious relationship than his peers.
Sign #5: He's Doing Some Old-Fashioned Courting.
A commitment-ready man will readily chase you -- you know, just like how our fathers and grandfathers did with the girls in their time. If he's only a friend, there's no reason for him to fight for your love.
Sign #6: He Remembers Little Details About You.
When he remembers a joke you told a few months ago, it means he thinks about you at night. It shows that he cares about you deeply -- deeply enough to remember even the little details.
On the other hand, if he keeps forgetting things you tell him, he may not exactly be interested in you that way.
So does he really love you? Or does he want to stay friends? How many of the above-mentioned six signs is he showing you?
If you'd like to know how to handle difficult relationships like this, then I'd love to help!
