The study found that the median number of sexual thoughts for men was 18.6 and for women it was 9.9. In contrast, the average for men was 34.2 and for women it was 18.6.

So what those findings actually mean is that men think about sex twice as much as women. That is the reason men have a tendency to look at other women but they don't always look at other women. Sometimes we just imagine they are consumed with other women when in reality they're not. Let's be honest though, women do their share of looking at other men. Just remember that it is normal for your man to look at other women. The key here is "look", it's the man who does more than look that you need to distance yourself from at all cost. Your man is not a sex fiend who thinks of sex every 7 seconds, he's just a normal man.

First, you can start by making the outer package, your physical appearance, look as good as possible all the time. How well you dress, how well you maintain your hair and other physical attributes will greatly determine whether he just looks at other women or he goes further than looking. Second, be his best friend, work on the emotional and intellectual ties to your boyfriend and he'll value and protect what has developed between the both of you.
